Last week. Killed it!


If I ever muster up the courage, I’ll share progress photos of my weight loss journey. Since getting married (in 2013) and having babies, I’ve consistently put on some extra L Bs, as I’m sure many moms can relate.

While the number on the scale scares the bejesus out of me, I’m more concerned with my (lack of) energy and how I feel so dang uncomfortable in my own skin. That’s why I said “enough is enough” and have been tracking my calories (working towards macros) for well over a month using the LoseIt app. And slowly introducing regular exercise back into my weekly routine.

As I mentioned in my previous post, I’m already down several pounds and finally feel like I am on the right path.

To stay transparent, here’s a snapshot from my LoseIt log from last week. Even with some beers and a dinner (two?) out, I was able to offset my calorie intake with exercise, and stay on track! Overall for the week I was under by 1,680 calories!

If you’ve found weight loss tools that have helped you, I’d love to hear about them, or just hear your story in general. I’m constantly inspired by men and women who make the decision to put their health first. (Now it’s my turn. 😊)
